VRIDE Warranty Policy (Sunpeed Products)

This Warranty Policy applies to Sunpeed products purchased from VRIDE in the United Kingdom. This warranty is provided in addition to your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Nothing in this policy limits or replaces those rights.

🛠 Frame Warranty

Sunpeed frames are covered against manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship:

  • Aluminum Frames: Lifetime Warranty.
  • Carbon Fiber Frames: 5-year Warranty.
  • Replacement Policy: Defective frames will be replaced with the same model. If the model is discontinued, it will be replaced with a frame of a similar level.

This warranty does NOT cover:

  • Accidental damage, crashes, or impact.
  • Misuse, abuse, or neglect.
  • Normal wear and tear.
  • Improper assembly, maintenance, or modifications.

⚙️ Components & Drivetrain

  • Derailleur: Free maintenance within 2 years from the date of purchase.
  • General Parts: Covered for 1 year from the date of purchase. This includes: fork, suspension, hubs, rim, handlebar, stem, seat-post, pedals, saddle, crankset, cassette, and brakes.
  • Third-Party Components: Components from brands like Shimano or SRAM are also covered by their respective original manufacturer’s warranty. VRIDE will assist customers in facilitating these claims.

🚫 Warranty Exclusions (Consumables)

The following consumable items are not covered under warranty unless found to be faulty at the time of delivery:

  • Tyres and inner tubes.
  • Brake and shifter cables.
  • Chain, brake pads, and discs.
  • Handlebar grips and plastic parts.
  • Bearings and other normal wear-and-tear components.

📦 Accessories & Spare Parts

Accessories are covered according to the specific warranty terms stated on the individual product page or provided by the manufacturer.

🔧 Warranty Claims Process

To initiate a warranty claim, please contact us at info@vride.co.uk.

You must provide:

  1. Order number
  2. Frame Serial Number (Required for all Sunpeed claims)
  3. Description of the issue
  4. Clear photos and/or videos showing the fault

VRIDE may require a physical inspection before approving a claim. If approved, we will arrange a repair, replacement, or provide replacement parts.

🚚 Customers Outside Our Location

For customers unable to visit our London premises, assessment may be conducted remotely via photos/videos. If a claim is approved:

  • Replacement parts may be shipped at no cost, or
  • An alternative resolution will be offered in line with UK consumer law.
